Upon leaving Cleveland we encountered poor weather while heading toward South Bend, home of Notre Dame University. We decided to pull into a rest area where we waited out the rainfall and rested. After a 2 hour nap, we resumed our travels and headed toward the our destination. We stopped for the night only 15 minutes from the school.
We awoke to a beautiful day and was greeted by Notre Dame's infamous football stadium and golden dome. Despite being early Sunday morning the campus had a life of its own with various sports teams in session practicing.
All in all, the school lends itself to the tradition and prestige of its reputation as the immaculate campus and facilities rival all those this author has had an opportunity to experience.
