What a terrific day today was. Our good buddy Jeff works in the Padres control room and hooked us up with some pretty fine seats. He also got us on the stadium scoreboard, which was totally awesome of him. He gave us a tour of the control room after the game and we had a chance to see Tony Gwynn.
San Diego is absolutely an awesome city. Matt and I had both been here before, but we're still in awe of the city and how friendly everyone is here. The weather is nearly perfect -- everyone was complaining it was too hot because it got up to nearly 80 today. Theres a great nightlife here, which we are about to partake in. We will be leaving in the morning for Phoenix and a grueling 2-day, 2000 mile part of our trip.
